Mikki Trowbridge, E-RYT, MBA (she/her)

Founder. Community Instigator. Salem + Portland Teacher.

Mikki enjoys making hard things easy. Her classes are anatomically informed and soulfully inspired and promise to be fun, flowing and leave you feelin’ good. She aspires to infuse her passion for the practice, her love of music and genuine, life-inspired musings into each class. Her style creates a space for yogis to be challenged and to grow their practice, but also to find ease, confidence, laughter, yogi friends and bliss. And this style naturally led to her creation of Yoga + Beer events across Oregon in 2013. 

Mikki obtained her 200 hour certification from YogaWorks, her 500 hour certification from YoYoYogi and also has completed a teaching intensive with Strala Yoga. She is currently working towards additional 500 hour certifications with Yoga Medicine and Annie Carpenter's Smart Flow. Her home base is Salem, Oregon, where she teaches weekly Yoga + Beer events and studio classes.

Mikki is an equal opportunity beer lover - but has a soft spot for porters and fresh hop season in Oregon.  In addition to her love of yoga and beer, she enjoys hiking, coffee, stand up paddle boarding, reading, exploring the beauty of Oregon, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends and Shiba Inu pup.

Kristen Aubert, RYT

Salem Teacher

Kristen has been a Yoga + Beer lover and supporter (enthusiast??) since the very first class at Rogue Hopyard in 2013; coincidentally in the exact same space she got married just a month prior. Three years later she received her 200RYT at Indigo Wellness Center in Salem, OR. 

Yoga, to Kristen, is like coming home. It's that safe place to connect your mind and body through movement, intentional breathing and exploration. She loves to teach all levels, alignment-based Hatha flow classes where she offers options for every skill level. Her sweet nature and big smile make every student feel "right at home".  

Since moving to Oregon 11 years ago, Kristen has really embraced the Pacific NW beer scene, with her favorite varieties on opposite sides of the spectrum, working her palette toward the hoppier styles. She also loves a good, local wine during the Yoga+Wine events equally as much. Kristen is thrilled to join the Yoga+Beer crew, giving all who attend the experience she has come to love.

Yuliya Bohan, RYT

Vancouver + Camas Teacher

Originally born in Ukraine, Yuliya immigrated to the US in 1991, and has since then called the PNW her home. Yuliya has been practicing yoga since 2016 and is passionate about bringing the life changing benefits of yoga to those around. She received her 200 hr Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga Training through The Yoga Home in Costa Rica and has been teaching group classes as well as 1:1 sessions.

Yuliya is passionate about bringing body-awareness, gratitude, and positivity when sharing her knowledge of yoga. She is dedicated to creating a safe space that cultivates an environment where yogis can connect to themselves in order to tune in with mind, body, and spirit.

Yuliya lives in Vancouver, WA with her 9 yr old daughter, her cat, and 4 chickens. She enjoys gardening with a frosty IPA or cider.

Cait Gill, RYT

Corvallis + Albany Teacher

Cait’s love for yoga extends back a decade and bringing beer into the mix started almost 3 years ago at Block 15 Brewery in Corvallis when she taught her first Yoga and Beer class. A natural compliment to each other, Cait found that bringing people together for yoga and a beer was a perfect way to start teaching after completing her 200RYT at LiveWell Studio in 2016. 

Drawn to yoga to compliment her active lifestyle, Cait has found yoga to be the ideal foundation for not only improving athletic performance but finding inner peace. Her teaching style stems from 14 years of dancing and her personal practice in Ashtanga Yoga. Strong and fluid with a focus on breath and alignment. Cait’s aims to challenge all levels of students to find their inner strength through movement, laughter and sharing a delicious post class pint. 

When she is not teaching yoga you can find Cait chasing her 3 and 5 year old daughters around the Willamette Valley, running marathons, and mountain biking with her husband. Cait has enjoyed the opportunity to bring yoga into her corporate life as well. As a software consultant and MBA student, she has had the opportunity to teach at a few software conferences as well as share her love for yoga with fellow MBA students. Cait loves seeing the "busy bees" of corporate america reap the benefits of a yoga practice and hopes to continue to spread the yoga beer love to many more students and executives in the valley.

Rhonda Bachmann, RYT (she/her)

Salem Teacher

Rhonda is trained in Amrita yoga, which is a form of vinyasa yoga with influences from Ayurveda, physical therapy, neuroscience, yoga philosophy, psychology, pranayama, and mindfulness. She is passionate about helping students increase awareness of their unique way of moving. She embraces the seasons in her class themes and teaches classes that align with the rhythms of nature and practice in harmony with the changing of the seasons as well as the time of day.

Her daily activity include, walks with her lab (Mac) and golden doodle (Jack), yoga, and spending time with her family. She has 3 beautiful grand kids to play with so she has to stay fit to keep up with them! Her weekends include teaching yoga, kayaking (in calm waters), camping, hiking and cycling and chasing grandkids.

She believes that yoga works for everybody and for her it is an essential practice that helps to relieve the stress that comes with working from home and juggling competing priorities. She encourages her students to explore their own creative movement in their yoga practice and to have fun with yoga.

Jenni Harper, RYT

Jenni moved to Oregon from Indiana in 2013 in search of all things beautiful. She began her practice soon after as a way to jump right into the community and fell in love with the practice immediately. She enjoys all styles of yoga and completely believes in all that yoga has to offer the body & soul. 

After having her own solid practice for 5 years, Jenni completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certification at Willamette Valley Power Yoga. She has a bold teaching style that encourages you to listen to your body and do what feels good in each pose. As a teacher it is her mission to empower you to create possibility on and off your mat.

Jenni believes every body is different and that yoga is for everybody. When not on her mat, you can find Jenni at a baseball game, listening to music, exploring the outdoors, and sharing a few giggles with friends over a pint.

Lexi Stickel, RYT (she/her)

Portland + Gorge Teacher

Lexi has been an active member of the Y+B for many years and she's jazzed to serve as a teacher for this amazing community. When she first moved to Salem, it was the discovery of Y+B where she found her community. She completed her yoga teacher training with Jaya Yoga School in Hood River where she refined her approach to yoga. Lexi aims to infuse joy, connection, and breath into every class she leads. She believes everyone can experience the benefits of yoga and each of her classes link body & mind with breath & movement. Lexi strives to ensure that every student feels empowered and comfortable in her classes with options that work their unique and beautiful bodies.

She was born and raised in Oregon, and has lived in Portland, Salem, and Eugene. Now she is a proud community member of the Columbia River Gorge. You'll probably bump into Lexi on one of the numerous trails, lakes, or breweries in the Gorge. She loves to explore all the beauty of the PNW with her partner and pup.

Juli Greenwald, E-RYT 200, RYT 500

Portland Yoga Nidra Teacher

The only thing Juli loves more than attending a yoga class is a luscious nap, which was why she was so excited to discover the practice of Yoga Nidra in 2017. Through this ancient form of "yogic sleep,” Juli discovered a more expansive consciousness and deeper connection to herself and others. She hopes to spread that sense of connection, joy, and bliss to those in her classes. 

Juli started teaching yoga in 2015. She earned her 500 hour yoga certification in San Diego in 2017. Since then she’s taught over 1,000 hours of classes in the styles of Vinyasa, Deep Stretch & Restore, Yin, and Yoga Nidra. She obtained her level 2 iRest Yoga Nidra teaching certification in 2022 and leads weekly virtual meditation classes for private groups as well as volunteer classes at Raphael House, a safe house for domestic violence survivors and their families.


Lisa Gurnsey, RYT

Portland + Oregon City Teacher

Lisa is an Oregon native with a love for all things active. She discovered yoga as a way to overcome injury, falling in love with the practice and community. Yoga+Beer has been part of Lisa’s journey since its inception and remains her favorite spaces to practice. Lisa completed her 200RYT at Thrive in 2020.

Lisa’s years of sports, dance and coaching brings a deep understanding of the benefits of breathe and movement. Enjoying all styles of yoga she mixes it up to allow students to find what works best for for their bodies at all levels. Besides the benefits of moving our bodies, she also understands how contagious a good laugh and smile are, bringing both to every class.

An IT desk dweller during the day, Lisa spends her away time promoting movement and helping others find the benefits of an active lifestyle. When not on the mountains or on the rivers, Lisa enjoys spending time with family, friends and her furpack; Nigerian Dwarf Goats, a GSD and Weimaraner.

Lindsey Kraayenbrink

Lindsey has taught a wide variety of classes for Parks and Recreation, but has found a passion in teaching yoga. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, she moved to Oregon to spend her time outside hiking, biking, climbing, paddling, skiing, and surfing. She asserts that a steady practice enables her to be her authentic self, and hopes to "spread the good word" through teaching. She aims for a well-rounded class that supports each individual's own experience, because that's what yoga is all about! She loves seeing familiar faces around town, so if you catch her on a trail, at the beach, on the river, in the mountains, or maybe on a sunny patio with a pint, say, "Hi!"

Vanessa Rios

Vanessa began her yoga journey when she had to overcome a knee injury that just wouldn’t heal. She attended her first class in 2014 and was hooked. It was the key to regaining her mobility. Years later she took the dive and received her 200RYT certification with Dr. Zohra Campbell. Being a born and raised Salemite, she is honored to give back to the community she grew up in. Vanessa’s years of Dance, Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu, and Personal Training built a well-rounded set of skills that is implemented in her classes. Challenging students to feel empowered, strong, and fulfilled no matter what level they are at. Vanessa’s goal is to guide students to better themselves by cultivating an inviting, safe, and nurturing environment that allows anyone to practice and thrive in the benefits of Yoga. Her classes aim to have you feeling rejuvenated and serene. When she isn’t teaching you can find her at a local coffee shop reading, outside exploring Oregon, or spending time with family. She loves all types of music and always keeps her ears open to find what to put on her next playlist. She’s excited to be apart of the Yoga + Beer crew!
